MEET OUR BISHOP
Bishop Darryl L. Wakefield, Sr. is the residing pastor and founder of Christian Fellowship Center, which birthed in 1992. Bishop Wakefield was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Rev. Franklin R. Wakefield and Inez C. Hodge. The message of God was never far from his life and so, Bishop Wakefield devoted himself to fulfilling the call to ministry.
Bishop Darryl Wakefield holds an Associate’s degree in Business College, and continued study towards his Bachelor’s degree at both Florida A&M University and then University of North Florida. In the midst of transition and study, Bishop Wakefield formally answered the call and transferred to Zoe University, where he earned his Bachelor’s and then Master’s degree in Theology. Bishop Wakefield is a licensed and ordained by The Evangelical Church Alliance, New Life International, Philippians Community Church, and Zoe University.
Bishop Wakefield is happily married to his wife Mercy Wakefield, and they are the proud parents of two sons, Darryl, Jr. (Chanda) and Paul (deceased), a daughter Shanae (Marlon) and grandparents to six.
